This offer is applicable on purchase of a product worth net of Rs. 3,000 and above of the brands of V.I.P. Industries Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) i.e., VIP, Skybags, and Carlton from the Retail Trade, General Trade Channel and official website of the Company. The Eligible Customer shall get a free smart bag tag. 

Terms & Conditions: 

  • Any Customer shall purchase a product worth net of Rs. 3,000 & above from the shops as specified by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Eligible Customer”) and get a free smart bag tag (hereinafter referred to as “the Offer”). 

  • The Eligible Customer can avail this Offer only in the shops of Retail Trade, General Trade Channel and official website of the Company.  

  • This Offer is only valid on purchase of a product worth Rs. 3,000 and above of the brands of V.I.P. Industries Limited i.e., VIP, Skybags, and Carlton.  

  • This Offer is valid from 22nd August, 2025 till stock lasts. 

  • This Offer is valid on purchase of a single product of Rs. 3,000 and above and it’s multiples thereof.  

  • The Eligible Customer must register the smart bag tag as prescribed under the below user manual (For reference please click - https://vipbags.com/pages/vip-tagged-to-be-found-offer) 

  • The Offer can neither be exchanged for any other gift/product or cash or cash equivalent nor can be transferred to any other person.    

  • The Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer, discount or scheme.  

  • This Offer is non-en cashable, non-negotiable and not extendable.   

  • The Company reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice, to add / alter / modify / change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether.  

  • In case of any dispute or differences arising between the guest(s) / customer(s) or any other parties in connection with this offer, the decision of the management of V.I.P. Industries Limited will be final and binding on all the parties concerned.  

  • All disputes arising out of this offer are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Mumbai.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – VIP X TAG8 SMART QR BAG TAG 

Product Usage 

This Smart QR Bag Tag is designed solely to help identify the luggage in case it gets misplaced.  The Product does not guarantee recovery of the bag and is only an aid for identification.  By using the Product, the Customer agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions. 

Registration & Activation 

  • The Customer is solely responsible for providing accurate information during registration.  Failure to register the Product may render it non-functional.  The tag8 Smart QR Bag Tag comes with a validity period of 5 years from the date of activation. 

Finder Functionality 

  • The finder may use this information to attempt to contact the Customer and return the misplaced item.  tag8 and VIP Industries Limited (“VIP”) have no control over, or liability for, the actions or intentions of the finder. 

Warranty 

The Product is warranted against manufacturing defects only, for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.  The warranty does not cover: 

  • Wear and tear, scratches, discoloration, or damage due to misuse 

  • Water, fire, heat, or chemical exposure 

  • Tampering, modification, or unauthorized repairs 

Warranty claims, if any, will be limited to replacement of the defective tag at the sole discretion of tag8. 

Limitations of Liability 

The Product is an identification aid and does not ensure prevention of loss or theft.  tag8 and VIP are not liable for: 

  • Any loss, theft, or damage to the Customer’s belongings, even if the Product was attached 

  • Any expenses, damages, or claims arising from use or non-use of the Product 

  • Any failure of the Product due to factors beyond reasonable control (misuse, third-party action, acts of God, etc.) 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tag8 and VIP have no liability for any loss, damage, claim, or expense connected to the Product or services. 

Disclaimer of Service Guarantee 

The Product facilitates voluntary assistance by finders but does not guarantee: 

  • That the finder will attempt to contact the Customer 

  • That the luggage will be recovered in whole or part 

The Customer uses the Product entirely at their own risk. 

Data Protection & Privacy 

The Product works on the basis of voluntary information sharing by the Customer. The Customer decides what personal details to input.  When a finder scans the QR code, the data entered by the Customer will be visible to the finder. tag8 and VIP have no control over how such data is viewed, used, or misused by any third party.  The Customer bears sole responsibility for the type and extent of personal information shared through the Product.  tag8 and VIP adopt reasonable technical safeguards; however, no system is fully secure, and tag8 and VIP expressly disclaim any responsibility for: 

  • Unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse of Customer data 

  • Any data breach, hack, or interception by third parties 

  • Any loss or damage suffered by the Customer due to the sharing of personal data via the Product 

By activating or using this Product, the Customer expressly acknowledges that data sharing is at their own risk, and tag8 and VIP have no liability for any misuse or unauthorized use of such data. 

Governing Law 

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.  Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India. 

Force Majeure  

Neither tag8 nor VIP shall be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond their reasonable control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, cyberattacks, etc.).
